Ladies with gentle hands, it’s August of 2026 and you’re looking at an article on Team of the Week Beto. What are you doing with your life? Is what I would have said if you weren’t a tactical mastermind at FC26. Me and my mate played Rivals with Beto as the number 9, and we couldn’t have had a more reliable striker. He can’t do rainbow flicks and he can’t score 30 yard piss whistles, but he does what he needs to do: get through on a one on one and twat it to the goalie’s funeral. Without further ado, let’s get into his stats.
Now, you do have two eyes for yourself and you can see more details of his card on FUTBIN. First thing I see is a 6’4″ striker with 93 physicality and Dan Burn is not even on his level. If a centre back tried to two foot him, the centre back would break his leg. The bloke is built like a hotel, that’s if hotels had an extra three layers of titanium steel, of course. 88 shooting with Power Shot is great for a Team of the Week card, and yes, in the games I played with him, he did hit the woodwork so many times it has bruises, but that is beside the point. He has 97 jumping, so if you’re whipping it into the box, the only head that’s on it is the man himself, Beto.
Pace & Dribbling
Now, getting him moving is an experience. Looking at that 82 dribbling and 70 balance, you’d reckon he turns like a double decker bus with flat tyres. To be completely honest, he isn’t going to turn into prime Messi out on the wing, but EA somehow handed this man 4-star skill moves and a 4-star weak foot. If you actually need to chop back inside, he can do it, and he will bang it in with either boot.
His 87 pace is backed up by 88 sprint speed and the Rapid PlayStyle. Once this bloke gets his momentum up, defenders are essentially trying to tackle a moving freight train. Combined with the Press Proven and First Touch PlayStyles, when you hammer a driven pass into his feet, he controls it properly instead of letting it bounce off his shin and back to your own keeper.
Passing & Link-Up
His passing overall sits at 75, which looks a bit grim on paper, but break it down and it’s actually dead useful. He rocks 85 short passing alongside the Tiki Taka PlayStyle. He is built specifically to back into a defender, hold off whatever poor soul is trying to mark him with his 97 strength, and lay a neat little ball off to your wingers flying past. Just don’t ask him to play a 40-yard pinged pass out across the pitch, because it will end up in row Z every single time.
Aerial Threat & Defending
Defending is 36, but let’s be real you aren’t playing Beto at centre back unless you’re four goals up and having a laugh. What actually matters here is his 90 heading accuracy matched with the Precision Header PlayStyle. Combine that with his 97 jumping and 6’4″ frame, and he is a total cheat code on corners. You don’t even need to aim properly; just float it into the mixer and watch him climb over two defenders to smash it into the roof of the net.
The Verdict
This 87 TOTW Beto is an absolute nuisance in the best possible way. He isn’t the slickest, most graceful player in FC 26, but if you want a proper, direct striker who will physically bully fullbacks, win every single header, and finish his chances when it counts, he’s well worth every penny.
