He’s sat there in a uniform that’s seen things it refuses to talk about. Boots scuffed like they’ve argued with every pavement in Europe, completely locked into the headlines as if the fate of the nation depends on whether the football scores are acceptable.
You can almost hear him muttering, “This better not be another nonsense article,” while absolutely ignoring the fact that there’s chaos happening somewhere within five metres of him.
